I've managed to get a place - only because last year was my fifth rejection on the trot. I'm disappointed that this rule has been phased out. At least you knew that you had a ballot place within six years without having to go through a charity or a running club ballot.

If I was in, would they have cashed my fee by now? Not had a letter either way yet...

If you were looking for a ballot place, Mave, you should have had a email with a link to the payment page. Strange that you in/out mag hasnpt arrived. Did you move house and not tell 'em ? Is your postie a runner and s/he has taken your place ?

Mave - Maybe give them a call and ask them. The VLM webpage has this message via the "contact us" link -
'If you've got any queries and would like to speak to the Virgin London Marathon organisers, please call our helpline on 020 7902 0200'

Does anyone know if FERC has any VLM places for FERC members?
