WCP definitely has the bonus of beautiful views.

Castle challenge is a lot easier because it just happens but it needs more miles a day than WCP so I’m finding it hard work keeping up with Darwin.

I think the main thing with the castles challenge is to enjoy it ET! Every checkpoint gets you an entry into the draw! But first and foremost it’s just a friendly amble with fetch mates! Some people have started knowing they won’t finish the full 600 miles by September but I think it’s a fantastic event that encompasses the spirit of fetch, thanks to singe 🎶 for putting it together with fetch!

I agree and when I started it - it was with the clear knowledge that I probably wouldn't finish it but would enjoy it anyway.

Then I got close to Darwin.
Then I caught up with Darwin.
Now for the last week, every evening I'm just ahead of him and every morning he has moved past me.

I am the problem - not the challenge!!!!

Yes, the logging for #lejog is quite a pain. As I started on January 1, it's easy to see what I've done in total on Fetch, and several times the totals haven't matched, and I've had to trawl through my #lejog log to see where it doesn't match.
Well done Elsie!

I’ve always had a separate spreadsheet for Le jog and then I did my own jogle and still keep a spreadsheet for Route 66, as I run in kms and my husband set the spreadsheet to convert for me 😂😂😂

Aha Elsie too, well you either add on an extra walk and put darwin behind you (but then you’d be looking over your shoulder all the time) or you keep doing your little dance with him! 😂

Sushi.
I find it a pain on days I run twice as you can’t log each run as you do it.

I have just been uploading activities from our holiday last week and it turns out I crossed the WCP finish line on 19 April! Coincidentally, the finish seems to be about two miles from Chester Castle, so I'll be making a second virtual visit to the area in a few months time!
