Units of measurements

I have actually been using KM vs miles quit a lot recently. Counting forth and back in my head during runs.
Going for the higher distance that rounds up best with km or miles.
So if i will do a long run, i go for 20 miles instead of 30km, or 2k instead of a mile and so on.
Its all about the fooling of the brain :)

Units of measurement, could there be a benefit in what system you use?

I shall be a little philosophical now.
To be under, let’s say 60min, on 10km, might be one of the first goals for us exercise weekend warriors. 6min/km.10km under one hour, lots of nice and round numbers.

(I don’t know what you brits call a person who exercises as a hobby?)

But in imperial that’s like under 9,39min on 6,213 miles. Or something like that.
Not quite the same ring to it.
