Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I'm waiting to see the new inov8 vest, and the latest version of the UD ones.

Or get an "old" version of the UD ones cheaper? They are good (love mine) but quite expensive so saving a few quid would be good. I love the vest type backpack as they don't bounce around so much.

I thought the Nathan Vaporwrap looked better put together than the UD signature vests; and a few people have complained (on Facebook) of stitching failing on the original UD ones.

Have just bought a Salomon s-lab 5l with the soft flasks - it's fantastic! Will probably get the 12l at some point too, for longer races. Have wanted a pack with flasks on the front for a while, but was a bit worried that my boobs would get in way or squashed! :-o

With your time :-)G I think not!! But if you remember the crying woman in the finish line photos...that was my sister!!

I like inov8 as a make generally, but once got a small backpack and it was the most uncomfortable thing out which has put me off a bit, though still love their shoes - they seem to be just made for my feet!
Good idea to look at older (cheaper) models. I haven't heard of the vaporwrap...off to google! What's the advantage of soft flasks, laliaicha? Are they less sloshy?

I've an Inov-8 pack. And it always feels really light and forget it's there :)

Ymee - no sloshing because they compress as you drink :-)

I got one of the Salomon soft flasks to try but it didn't work well with my UD vest - just drooped out the front :-)

I love my UD vest but had the same problem as Ian with the Salomon soft flasks. They kept leaping out :-)
Now I just slosh.

Well, I hope you're going to slosh quietly next Saturday!
