For folks that have ran 100 miles or beyond, how long does it take to get back to normal training/running again??

I still feel a bit jaded but I have ran two parkruns since A100 and I have a marathon on the 19th of November

Many thanks

I'm typically back running within a few days, but I think it takes several months of 'easy' to make a full recovery. And therefore we hardly ever do (until we break ourselves) as we'll run another race before then.

It's why elites will only *race* two or three long races a year.

From personal experience, it takes me 4-6 weeks to get back to normal. I still think you will feel it a little bit in your legs by the 19th but be ok to get round.
I did 4 100s this year which was probably 1 too many but a bit late now...

Damo, do you mean GO33 ( yesterday ) rather than D33 ( March ) ? See separate Glen Ogle thread :-)
