Wow, 5000ers, congrats for that!
Nellers, I was proud that I could do 2:30 / 500m until I was chatting to Blind Ken who rows a bit and he said he was 1:3x for 500?! Sheesh! Ace km time there.
I hit my 1500 yesterday in a lovely 6:30am sunrise run up the hills. See 1500 thread for pics! 
Much harder, I began some Christmas shopping too - grandson has a sit-on tractor (suitable for 12 months was the hard bit!), son has New Scientist subscription and his GF has the perfume she (he!) asked for! I'm rubbish at Xmas shopping so this is a real achievement for me! G

I very occasionally see 1:3X when I'm really sprinting or doing very short intervals. My 500m OB is 1:41.something so I on paper I'm not far off, but it reality that's a big barrier to cross! Blind Ken is a bit of a legend!
Nice work on the early Xmas shopping G. That's much better than I've done.

Wellbeing, Diversity, and Inclusion week has kicked off here - after the launch, the first event was a session I was lead organiser of , on Social Mobility. It seemed to go really well - about 45 people turned up for it, and asked the sort of questions that indicated they'd paid attention and been thinking about things. The speaker was also very pleased with how it went and that she had come out for it. :D :does a proud:
There are two more sessions that I'm the lead for (well, one session twice, but with different people it'll end up being a subtly different session anyway I guess) tomorrow, fingers crossed they'll go as smoothly.

Love Sprouts
I've been on a team at work that's been working towards ISO 9001 and 27001 certification. We had our accreditation visit this week, and they've just told us that we passed. Feeling relieved and very glad it's over.
