Well done Sigh. HappyG - we live 5 miles from Cambridge and don't have mains gas - have run out of oil at least twice in 5 winters so far... |

Is that Cambridge, Saskatchewan or Columbia, VJ? Went to non-club intervals last night. Wasn't sure if it would work in terms of work, changing and trains, but it was aces. Got to see santababy too! Running goals are going fine, but I must sort out my accounts, tax and actually plan some Christmas stuff - shopping for instance! G |

Nice info graphic Sigh. That made me wonder about my total ascent. Is it shown anywhere other than on that infographics? Is it in the Training Log anywhere? I can see ascent / descent per run, but not weekly, monthly etc/.? G

Trumpet modifie: my interview is now tomorrow morning. I'm getting a bit nervous, but think I've at least decided what I'm going to wear. |

HG - go to Training Log, select the period you want, then use the Totals tab - Ascent is shown as one of the figures

Sigh
@HG, I did a search of threads for comments on elevation the other day; this was a very useful comment from Gus (thanks Gus!): fetcheveryone.com/viewtopic.php?id=60691 "Note that Fetch disregards all altitude info in FIT files when you load an activity, and works it out from the GPS locations with reference to a standard database of known heights. In my view this is likely to be less accurate than what your watch will calculate ( and show on Garmin Connect )." - which is why I decided to ignore the Fetch elevation data and go on the data on GC. It's a hell of a difference; GC has my elevation gain for 2019 as 13,080 metres, on Fetch it's 25,051 metres! |

Thanks Gus. Never clicked on Totals before! Sigh, that's a reason to ignore Garmin Connect and to use Fetch ascent data. Garmin is wrong! Ooh, nice one Scribs. G |
