Sigh, that's an interesting point - we set ourselves targets, but do we celebrate achievements enough.

Thanks G, it's more a contest of attrition - making the start and finish of three ultras in a year, one of which must be the HM110, is a big ask. The leader has been top 10 of his two previous races, where I've only hit top 40... rules is rules though.
Congrats on the 20k miles logged, few more years for me yet ;)
