Righto : Swim 3.5 Bike 140 Run 29.2 3 yogas, 1 S+C Middle distance tri done, blog um... half done. Went more or less according to plan; I would like to be quicker. Picked up a slight Hamstring / hip niggle so have been "recovering" a bit more than I planned. Might have to chat to a physio as it's still niggly a few weeks on. Started to sort house and garden out with a view to talking to estate agents. Eats into training time and available energy! Next thing - F'laps if my leg behaves, keep up general training, run more as the next Thing is a half mid September. |

I've been a little rudderless this year. Ill at the end of CX season carried on into Feb. Gravel didn't go well with punctures and then the nasty bang on my head. Mtb riding has seen good training not turned into good racing. All in all just lacked a bit of desire. I know I miss the thrill but not sure where. Doing the pairs race this weekend which is funny as you don't really see your team mate once the race starts but the thought that someone depends on you usually bring the level up. I keep looking at my road bike and TT BIKE and thinking.............. but the reality is I haven't beyond a hill climb ridden a road bike this year. As for running ...... yes I'm still a 17.xx 5k runner but........... |

@GregP next time you get out of your bath chair to restock on Wether's Originals, please add the following: 31 Aug 24 * Northstowe Festival of Running 5k (Glenners) In other shocking news, I was so ashamed of June's cycling duck that I went out for a ride this afternoon. |

A small cocktail sausage for me in June: Running - 45 miles. I can hardly believe it was such a tiny amount. That's more the sort of mileage I might be satisfied with in December. Cycling - 39 miles. Happy with that Swimming - 0.9 mile. You'd never think that I have a season ticket to the Lido and a house only 500m from the beach. Personal trainer sessions - 1 1 x 10k road race - WAVA 63.22 1 x 10k trail race - oldest woman in the race, and not last. 1 club handicap 4.4 mile race. Least said the better. |

Yes of course. Format them properly and I'll cut and paste them straight in.
