But you're well known to be a sado-masochist to Gobs.
And don't think you can mitigate that by saying 'but I'd only be going to bike around the Ardennes' , because that's even more of a giveaway. There's a reason all wars grind to a merciless halt in the Ardennes.
My frequent trips to Belgium don't count, as I very rarely have to pass Antwerp to get there. I rarely even pass Brussels - if I get near it I get sucked in by it's gravitational field and skip under the ring instead of going round it.
Also I can walk there (Belgium generally, not Brussels) which some might consider cheating.
I'll round up the spare kilos mid September and see how many of them I can make stick to my thighs, how about that?
Suunto reckons I've burnt 1035 'active calories' today already and I'm only half done.

Turns out the second round wasn't nearly as bad today as it was yesterday - almost pleasant, even, as it covers some very swanky houses in the woods -and I'm already done
I might even make it to rugbying this evening.
