And to make it even cheerier, I am pleased to report that the interview went well. I'm very happy with my performance, and I have nothing to do now beyond wait to hear the outcome. Annoyingly I didn't end up with the last interview slot (which I always try get, to minimise the time before the outcome is known), after I'd booked mine out turned out the booking system had malfunctioned and enabled multiple people to book the same (earlier) slot, so to fix it hey ended up having a couple after me. And as the results have to go through theHR Hub, who are exactly what you imagine they might be, that could also be delay things somewhat. |

You've done what you can. Assume you'll hear around the end of the week? Yeah, in theory by the end of next week at the latest. In all probability the panel will know who they want much quicker than that, and if it's not me then I'd hope my line manager would tell me personally rather than letting it come through the hub, but we'll see. It's important to make sure there's no grounds for anyone to say I got preferential treatment as an internal candidate, so they'll have to do things by the book at least for the most part. |

In other news EvilPixie I have been experimenting with gels and bars ahead of my next events. I decided to try the Kendal stuff. I love kendal mint bars but i cant use them during a session. Same with the gels. They just over power everything. May get some more bars just because i like them as evening snacks |
