The podiatrist reckons I have a 'banana foot', which is a very mild form of club foot, and presumably the reason I was plagued by things like plantar fasciitis as a yoof (though one has to wonder why in all the various consultations and physio appointments and ultra sounding etc I endured back then nobody else noticed it). The cure is, of course, insoles. And rest.
