Global wetting more like...
Training has been pants, with a broken bike and no enthusiasm for outdoorsing other than dog walking. Work busy so never got round to booking a swim. Pah. Short holiday now (hurrah) where there shall be mostly walking unless I brave a sea swim. Which isn't so much a sea aversion than where we're going the sea only comes up to your waist. Oops.

I’ve been IRL tri’ing!!!
Swim as expected
Longest transition I’ve ever done (run around outside of whole building!)
Bike ave 15mph despite wind
Run slow and steady but first tri I’ve done with a non stop run. Over half the run was round a field which was sponge like. I don’t like running in grass anyway so didn’t like this at all
Was so lovely to be back racing.

Well done Pix!
Is TRO at the great East by any chance? Swim apparently cut short for bad weather and the bike cancelled about 5 miles in for an over turned tractor 😱
I've been cross training. Cricket for the big girl and teaching the little one to ride her bike. Success, few more weeks and they can both come out on training runs with me 😀

No I was racing in Marlow Classic middle. Swim in Thames cancelled as they’d have been scooping us out of the river at Southend after about 15 mins....
So a 5k/90k/20k Duathlon, a solid 17th o/a, 2nd V50. Fabulous to be out there competing, just fabulous. Pleased with the effort, a good battle between 3 of us at the pointy end of V50 and only a bit of rain on the bike then rain after I’d finished.
Times 23:xx, 2:33:xx, 1:30:xx. I had 4 minutes on the winning V50 at T2, but he had a 1:23 run, and I didn’t😀😢.
