ARGH, much frustration for the 2nd week in a row. It has been working fine and yet today.... about 70 or so mins in and I wasn't in.
So TRO summed it up well, the race exploded on the 1st climb. I got shelled putting out close to 5Wkg so settled in around 4.2 and picked people off. By the descent I was in a group of 3(around 20th) catching a group in front when it pinged me out again !!!
With the climbs etc, an hour around 4.1 was still good effort so more encouraging signs.
Dropped back in but wasn't in the race so quit, saw there was an 8 lap crit so risked it.
400 plus watts before the official start records as 90 seconds around 350 just to get in the lead bunch, from then it was pretty easy for me to stay in the group and tick the laps off.
Race changed gear with 2 to go (4.8 Wkg for last 5 mins) and this was where my 70 mins of effort showed as although I was in bunch for the win my sprint was more an elogated drag to the line with only about 7.5Wkg so 5th was quite a good result really.
4.6wkg for 19 plus mins and 5th according to Zwift power
Fun fun fun
TRO has ridden well today, I think he is getting braver :¬)
Is it Doughnut time yet?

A nice gentle bike up to the shops was interrupted by witnessing quite a car on bike collision and helping out with the aftermath. Luckily the cyclist was wearing a helmet and got into the ambulance under his own power.
Stay safe, people.

I have cycled. OUT THERE >>> IN THE REAL WORLD
Sorry for shouting, very excited. Road bike finally freed from the fetters of the turbot.
Altogether now: 🎶🎵The wheels on the bike go round and round... 🎵🎶

Hope you managed to dodge the rain Glenn.
TRO sounds like you've had a good hard race
Gobi, sorry to hear about the crash on Zwift it's crap when it happens even worse in a race, I like the fact your rage raced a Crit and I guess the work we are doing on a Tuesday will help with the sprint finish.
Angus how was the weather it been raining here all day.
A couple of efforts on Zwift today I might go outdoors tomorrow if the weather improves.
