Fair enough. I'm sure many of us feel that way about one or more. For me it would be TSWLM, which I associate with a (probably imaginary) golden period in my life.

“(probably imaginary) golden period in my life.” .... and don’t we all have at least one of those?!

I seemed to really disengage with Bond during the Brosnan years. I’m not really sure why to be honest, might have been other life stuff.
He wasn’t a bad Bond. I simply lost interest. Logic says I should rewatch and reassess.

I still feel sorry for Dalton , he was a solid Bond in an era where Bond was PC and senstitive so in effect he got screwed ! The 2 movies were actually solid enough entertainment.

I'm so far being proved right in my view
Bond movies are largely what you want them to be , if you look too deep you can be let down.
As a rule look for nice cars, good looking girls, death and shit blowing up and you can't lose :¬)

^ is exactly what I look for and like in a Bond film (though more good looking boys than girls, tbh), and possibly a bit of accessibly witty banter.
