Tri club ride tonight is an outing to... Crit City. All in the D race (which, to be fair is where I currently belong, with delusions of cat C) to have an experience of racing. Should be fun. Quite glad it's not a workout on a group ride today, I think I needed something different! Wish I hadn't plodded at barely marathon pace in the pouring pollen last night though...

Fun Crit this morning. Due a 3 x 20 sweetspot session so timed it doing the first two blocks then having 5 min recovery and entered a short 10 mile Crit as block 3.
Weaker field than last night’s and got in group 2. Legs tired but comfy in the group, and worked out the course a bit. My Watter is dumb so need to anticipate hills etc as I don’t get feedback and it’s easy to get distanced. There’s a little 5-6% er about half mile to go, then rolling downhill.
Got away on the dig and held on; think it was 13th in Zwift, 7th ZPower. I noted riders in group 1 with the W/kg I rode so work to do on race craft.
Morning!

Can you crash in Zwift? What happens if you cycle into the back of someone?

My cornering and descending skills are much better on Zwift
Run at lunchtime.
Easier sesh on the watter later.
I've just realised I have the same amount of petrol in my car and cash in my wallet as 6 weeks ago (?) when lockdown began. And at times race refunds have put my credit card into +ve (it owes me money) territory.
Strange times....

I may just do another easy climb later, I may not :¬)

I filled up the other day. Cost £40 instead of £60. I've not spent any cash and I've still got 2 weeks travel on my Oyster card thats been there 6 weeks.
Suns out so I'm going to ride in a minute. One video meeting done and I've got 3 hours until the next one
