Before I zwatted I'd manage all my turbo sessions on a garmin Edge. Watter would transmit watts to the Edge that I set up to have fields of actual watts, ave watts (in the lap), lap time and HR. For intervals I'd have to keep the ave watts per lap to target for the lap duration such as 20 mins then hit lap, then just use lap time for the recovery, until next lap interval.
Worked perfectly, if a little dull for fairly simple workouts.

I lose out on gears and my peanut analysis if I use my watch but it does look like I may resort to this

Just ran 3 miles in 18 mins supporting a chap doing a 5km test, I kicked on and did the 3rd mile in 5.50 ish with no drama. Confirms the view I can run 37 min pace but not sure I can run 30 seconds faster.
Sunday will be fun in a strangely uncomfortable way !

I have spinned at about 50%. That's it for a couple of days until Thorpe & Egham HM on Sunday. Doesn't look the most exciting course but meets my criteria of Do New Things for this year.
Have just discovered the Chairman of BTF Yorkshire region works for the same company as me

I was going to do it but rugby club asked for volunteers & I hadn't got as far as entering. Have fun!
