Greppers - Southend leisure centre, they have 10 & 7.5m platforms that our divers need to train on.

Well I never. We used to have decent diving facilities in Chelmsford back in the day - now I'd assumed people travelled to Stratford.

Greppers - they built new facilities here in the run up to 2012 so there were extra training venues available

POD I'm up to 84. The challenge I set myself was to run every day. The minimum has been 2 miles. Past experience has shown that ramping the mileage up knackers my knees/hips/calves/back (delete as applicable).

I guess that is my point, what are you achieving really running everyday.
I can't so have only run on 16 days of 27 this month but my mileage is considerably higher.
I have to have days off running to look after my ankle.

What a crap day where nothing has gone to plan, resulting in an unwanted rest day

I feel stupid now. I *knew* this now you’ve jogged my memory hard enough. I was very vaguely involved in the whole business. Good grief my memory is rubbish.

28th over successfully negotiated and into the nervous nineties. required rate down to 3 off the last 3, with both legs well set and mojo still padded up in the pavillion. I'm ahead on Duckworth - Lewis
Gobi's asked "what are you achieving really running everyday?" and it's a valid question, especially coming from such a highly esteemed, super elite member of Hotel Royalty. The answer is simple, I'm achieving exactly what I set out to do. It was never meant to be about mileage. The challenge was to run every day during January, without the physical, motivational or logistical hurdles getting in the way, like they have over the 10 years I've been playing at this running lark. So, 28 down, 3 to go.
