Didn't really notice TBH, but you were PBing late in the season.
3 weeks between a season ending with TTing at a very high level to expecting to CX at a similar level. A sport that requires steady state effort racing solo to one that is full of efforts, requiring skills and physical resilience is a massive ask if you want to compete and be your best at both.

Lesson's learnt One, high intensity low volume training doesn't work for me if targeting a marathon.
