North Weald tonight. I predict grey clouds and a nagging wind. I think I've raced there some 40 times over the years. It's been overcast with a nagging wind for at least 35 of them.

My old training partner (and briefly my Super) Stu Ashton - think Argie's met him a couple of times - did Bolton on Sunday. Does he qualify for an all-comers 'Friend of the Hotel' T2 record? 00:17:59. Magnificent performance.

So the entire 140.6 miles covered in less time than it takes Holgs to run into a big white tent, take a wetsuit off, put some cycling gear on and run out to his bike. Phenomenal.
