Sadly not, I had entered but due to knee injuries transferred my entry to the new Ironman Italy to give an extra couple of months to get some run fitness back.
Was tracking a few mates, all seemed to have really really tough days, but it looked much more benign than the IM UK's I have done....

Sorry to read that mate - good luck for Italy.
It got out really warm on the later part of the bike and run. I've got sunburn but it wasn't as hot as it has been in the past.

Hot! I've done it twice, both cold and windy - one had heavy rain from waking up until an hour into the bike, the other heavy rain for the latter part of the run. Think it was about 12 deg both times.

2014 when I crashed was red hot, one of the years was a monsoon, I remember standing on that hill on the run and it was like a waterfall.
