Oh so I just call them TRI SWorks shoes. Never heard trivent mentioned in conjunction with SWorks.
They are very easy to get on.
I have SWorks mtb and road shoes tro. Lovely stuff

I've got a very old pair of Spesh Tahoe MTB shoes. They've been superb and were comfy right out of the box. Looking a bit sorry for themselves these days but not sure I can justify 2 new pairs of shoes, lest I become known as Angus Marcos.

I guess we do Podder. mine aren't S works... although if I'm honest I doubt that would make the difference, its about fit and ease of use. Ive never been able to get them on quickly at all, my guess is they are far too narrow for my feet and they always flick closed even with the nodule thingy on the strap.... but they aren't that bad when cycling, which is odd.
I think I may go Northwave Tribute, just got to wait for wiggle to get some stock in

TRO Saracen
I think Angus that 'Trivent' is the sort of trade name for all Specialised Tri shoes. The 'normal' one is well, normal, but the 'S' works is the top of the range model with the drawback...sorry I mean drawbridge...;-)....*chuckles*...guessing this 'idea' has been filed under 'seemed like a nice idea at the time'. Did not know they were still sold tbh.
A bit like those old 'profile design' between handlebar bottles that had this stupid yellow/orange sponge thing you stuffed into the opening that they said would allow you to refill on the move, but would not spill....MY FUCKING ARSE...basically it was like riding with a completely open bottle with a pointless yellow sponge stuffed in it

Needs context so it doesn't really work for POTM but TRO 13,277 is a wonderful, wonderful piece of work.

I had one of those TRO and I can confirm I got wet. On a bumpy road it was a sticky shower. Not good.
I really don't mind the drawbridge

I've ordered a pair of Northwave TriSonic shoes, on sale at Chain Reaction (55% off, cannae go wrong). We'll see how they go.
Pedals-wise I'm thinking I should probably stick with the updated version of what I already know and go with Time Xpresso.
