V60 WR 800 record went yesterday, 2.09 aye Brodie and McHarg at it again, looked like some great racing. Yes was going to say that Brent beat me - but I couldn't be arsed at there is no edit button ![]() Treated him to a warm down tour of north London though, visiting Spurs & The Emirates.. |

@LBAC Si re the discussion about spikes on the elite thread, I found this in the doc for the BMAF champs. "WMA Shoe rule will apply: Any shoe used in competition must have a sole with a maximum thickness of no more than 40mm (except any shoe that contains spikes where the maximum thickness is no more than 30mm)." So the On 10000 spike will remain legal for masters comps unless they have a rule change coming as well? |

@SPR Yeah I'm not doing any champs now, just summer Eastern & Southern masters so no issues there. Possibly might be an issue at World & Euro masters competitions, so i'm hoping that On produce their legal (20mm) ones before Torun next year in March (Euro masters indoors) |

They surely follow the WMA regulations so they are legal until something changes. On will definitely produce a legal spike though and they will need one that available to the masses by the WC or their athletes will have to run in other brands. |

Not sure whether I'll wear the Dragonfly 2 or Victory 2 on Sunday.

1500 on Sunday. I'll probably go DF2 as don't want my first impression of the Victory 2 to be coloured by indoor track feeling. Omni-lite spikes arrived today. |

Oh yes the British masters, good luck. I lost a xmas tree spike before the race on Sunday. Luckily found it stuck in the track after ![]() |
