SPR Jul 2013 10:36am, 7 Jul 2013 18,600 posts	0 SPR Given Contador palmares, there's no way they make the switch after the first mountain stage, unless they feel Contador didn't have a bad day and won't improve. Also depends on why Contador didn't have it yesterday. I wouldn't have expected anyone other than Froome to beat him. If it is to do with the crash or allegies and those will improve, you have to stick with him. If it's form and you think that the form will be better in the last week (with Froome's level dropping due to peaking now), you try and limit losses now as a good Contador should be better than a good Krueziger. The team has the numbers though so should know the full picture.

Maybe trying too hard to not let breakaway go today. Weird. Nasty looking crash for Kennaugh (sp?). Some big old thorns to remove I would imagine. Pictures of him climbing out of the bushes will be on many a tour highlight me thinks!
