After packing my tent away I said I changed my mind about doing this one solo - now I`ve changed it back again & formulating a solo plan.

I've been at running group today, talking this event up to people.

I still reckon I'm out though. As much as I was able to say how good it was, I was able to recognise that I'm not good enough. Once I can bash a marathon out with no worries, I'll be back.

Might come down to support though. And drink wine/cider while admiring the efforts of the participants...

Jamie - you did alright. Training & nutrition + maybe not a parkrun in the morning. What about blasting out with a fast 8 team next year - perfect for you I reckon. Look at those results.

Jamie, depends on what you want to be good enough for doesn't it? Lots of teams just there for a bit of fun and with no targets except completion. Also several very competitive teams for which you seem to need to be able to run 40-45 min on that course several times :-o
