Which category are you in B-Lass? I'm in with a team of 8 from my club - most of us are in marathon training mode at the moment so we just need to tweak things a bit and hold on to the endurance for an extra couple of months.

RogT - I have done Thunder Run every year other than year 1. I usually do 6 or 7 laps (team of 5). I have never done any specific training - just maintained form Spring marathon - usually not doing any long runs in excess of 13/14 between April and TR. Always found that works fine and I have always had really good runs at TR.

Thanks JR - good to know.
Sounds like a pretty speedy team - or did you all do varying numbers of laps? We are basing our plans (very loosely at the moment) on each of us doing 3 laps and possibly all doing the last lap together (can't actually remember whether that's allowed or not).

Hills of Death (HOD)
Me and SOD were going to be in a pair and the system kept crashing so I couldn't enter when they sorted it out it was 0200 hours. Bear in mind I get up at 6 I was in bed by then and then it was FULL !!! They are c&^%$
Luckily one of our girls from club stayed up all night booked two teams of 8 so I'm in that.

yeah, there were a lot of disappointed people. I'd just decided to give it 'one more go' at about 0230 and fortunately got our team in. underestimation of demand and an 'unfit for purpose' booking system certainly contributed to the chaos. Glad to hear you can still take part though.
