Jennywren just popping by now while I remember to say huge good luck for your race this weekend.
to us castle goers how are we all feeling?
I have had a problem with my foot the past few weeks and tentatively seems to be ok again. It means my training has been somewhat reduced lately but managed another longer (22.5m) run last weekend. I am in it for the adventure and my friend & I will drag each other round. Still looking forward to it far too much.
My tshirt arrived today

I got the black version, GG, the neck is a bit small and the hips a bit wide - a bit out of proportion, but I'll still wear it with pride (assuming I finish...spraining my ankle the week before last wasn't the best move!). It's getting a bit near now...

Oh heck yumee that is a worry just take it easy.
I wasn’t committing as the shop pic wasn’t great but someone had one for sale on the page it is a weird size/shape but like you it will be worn with pride if I finish and if not it will haunt me forever.

It seems to have come round so fast I had 3 months then boom 2 weeks.
We’ve all put the work in now the lap of honour!
I spent some time yesterday plotting the villages we’ll run through adding in pitstops the first part it off-road - woods and trails and looks like there’s not much around but once we get to base camp there is a lot of villages we’ll have a couple of people meeting us although I hope they realise we’re not stopping for a chat! My worry now is I’ve out in generous timings between the points largely so I can estimate what time to seek us out… and I think we’re going to be a lot slower than we thought /hoped but we will get there and may be slower May be faster as long as we’re smiling

I’d have suggested a fetch photo but with start waves that will be impossible. We’re off at 7.30.

Agree about the T-shirt sizing, for someone who doesn’t really like things around their neck I sadly won’t be wearing mine. I did buy a hoodie and they are excellent.
We head north a week tomorrow, so far I have found our sleeping bags 😂
I can’t even think about RTTS yet.
