Enjoy parkruns. I’m tempted to sit in front of the tv all day if this weather continues - predicted heavy rain, thunder storms and hail! I must do some exercise…

Have come to nearest parkrun again. Mainly on the grounds of poor nights sleep and then sleeping through alarm so this was the only choice!

ItsBeginningToLookALotLikeIdris Well done for getting out there. Not always easy after a crappy sleep etc. We did a local one, it's hilly: Sal hasn't done it before and I'd only ran it once before. I was 5th when I did it a few years ago - all the speedy runners were doing a local cross country event. Today I was a few minutes slower than previously, but very happy with 26.34 considering the hills. Sal has a 5 mile race tomorrow so took it easier than usual and did 31.19. |

Kept running all the way this week and felt comfortable too which was good. Was 30 seconds quicker than last week (same course) where I had to walk a couple of times so that was good |

Definitely worth getting up then. Well done Idris. I've added some tattoo pics to my blog. |

Congratulations to the newlyweds; and to TeeBee for 11.000 miles; and to Mr. Carp. Seren - hope your Mum is getting on ok. parkrun done. 1st lap in drizzle, 2nd and 3rd in torrential rain which formed huge puddles on the course. Soaked to the skin, couldn't see through my glasses, new Injinji socks decisively christened. 1st and last in category as usual. |
