Thanks all.

Your dental work sounds tricky Hann, hopefully not too expensive or painful. I need to book another appointment for hygienist which is more cost and Petrol and time off work but needs to be done.

Hope you can get some good rest tonight HP, I always find that helps.

Thanks Terminator.
I think it's good that people are checking in with each other.

Life can be so difficult and stressful, it's good we've got each other.

Ouch! That's a lot of dental work Hanneke! Hope it goes well

How is everyone today?

Another dodgy start for me. I pulled it back though. I went into tidy/organise mode and felt better for putting things back in order. I gave myself until late morning to do the boring stuff and then took Ernie for a long walk. Still anxiety there but I feel OK.

Well done for pulling it back HP. Is Ernie your dog? A dog is part of my strategy for getting out more, but can’t get one yet as renting. Next year maybe

I got a few things done of my to do list today, more than I expected given I was very tired from yesterday. Still need to get out for a walk. I’ve lived here a year and been only 2 walks.

Now I’m able to walk and stand after recovering from severe sciatica I need to get out the house more. Also thinking of volunteering at a nearby parkrun to try and make some friends locally.

Volunteering at parkrun sounds an excellent idea Fields.

This morning, I woke up to the news that my Zen master has died. I watched the life stream of the prayer meeting at Plum Village.

Then moved more things into my new building so now my house is ready to receive the new sofa on Wednesday.
I then had lunch and after lunch, decided on a walking meditation up the hill. This turned into another epic adventure as I scrambled down the side of the hill and back up to retrieve two parts of a horse skull.
I reached the top with Mari, the skull and enjoyed the sun setting over the Black Mountains. A surprisingly good day!

Wow, what a pic, I’ve added The Black Mountains to places I have to visit. Your skull knows how to smile for a picture too :-)

Walking meditation sounds like a good idea. I climbed up the hill above the village last year. Found this cross (it was just before Easter). Not as pretty as your picture though.

Maybe I’ll try and do that again tomorrow morning.

Walking meditation really helps me! I was chasing the sun and thought I would miss it after retrieving the skull but as it stands, it was top!

The Black Mountains are superb Fields, let me know if/when you are headed this way. I love showing people the special spots on foot, road- or mountain bike

I've been struggling with similar dental related issues and thoughts for the last few months, now facing multiple weeks of appointments and surgery still to be on the watch list for every other element. I've built this up for months and months in my head to the detriment of every element of my waking life, finally been slightly reassured by a friend in the industry, cross your fingers

Morning all. Not much to say. Not great right now and I know I shouldn't but feel myself closing up. Just not got energy to share. Everything that is getting me down seems so trivial and unworthy of my current state yet here I am 🤷‍♂️

Have your best day x
