Very scenic, heading to Kegworth. ;-)


Hard to believe Kegworth plane crash was 32 years ago. I remember it quite well, and sadly to this day I know very little else about Kegworth as a place.

MarkyMarkMark. A friend of mine was in the Leicestershire Fire Brigade at the time of the Kegworth Air Crash. He was in the first engine to arrive and saw the crash from the motorway bridge. We didn’t know him at the time, but according to another friend who was a colleague, he was never the same again. 😡

Not managing the extra 2 miles yesterday sees me finish day 50 1.8 miles short of half way. Will have to up my game a bit.

It bugged me so I went out again, taken 50 days to get halfway, in fact just beyond the castle but still in the grounds.
