Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

That sounds fantastic, hp. What a wonderful chance meeting.

I have knitted a sock!

Then I got all enthusiastic and am halfway down the leg of it's partner.

That sock is wonderful, I've only knitted one pair of socks in my life, and they were hideous! Very warm, but ugly, ugly socks!

Well done GM! :) I've never knitted a sock in my life and don't intend to start now. In fact, I'll probably never knit anything ever again. ;-)

Nice 5 mile walk in the country today. :)

No yoga done yet, I may scrap that part of the challenge as this walking seems to be taking up so much time just lately.

Joining the walking group is a brilliant, hp. Hope it turns out to be a great start up. Love the way you are tackling the new situation at home. x

Socks, walks, gardens, bike rides, runs and sea swims... it's all looking pretty good!

I finished my first book (Girl, Woman, Other) today. I am terrible at rushing books once I'm 3/4 way through and was determined not to with this one so I started my next choice last night: Death in the Spotlight : A Murder Most Unladylike Mystery. (number 5 of a 7 book series) Nearly 400 pages but will be a very quick read.

Have caught up with my blogs today and had a proper rest day.

Throwing things tomorrow!
