Met a friend who re-homed the cat of another friend who was dying of cancer today. She’s moved to the Highlands and show me a photo of Leo living the dream up North. He was a magic wee cat ❤️

Aww that's sweet.

Have a cat sitter for Mila for the first time this weekend. Warned her to expect not seeing Mila much because she doesn't really like strangers. Was sent lots of photos of Mila sitting on lap and being super affectionate!

Seren hanging out the hut because Daisey wedged herself in as well! That’s Daiseys tail!

Guys

As you may know mum is in hospital

She’s hoping for a day at home before she has surgery but I’m not sure if it will happen

So I had this thought, if it doesn’t I can take teddy to see her if I can get someone to wheel her to meet me.

He has a carrier but I thought if I used harness too that would help. I’ve found one but it’s unopened

Is there a good way to get him comfortable with it and quickly? Or is it just a case of battling him into it and leave it on in the house?

Thanks
jda

Do you think you could get your mother into your car? That would be a safer way of arranging a meet without risking a cat on the loose. Cat in unfamiliar harness and unfamiliar location sounds like a bit of a disaster waiting to happen.

Cat on harness is generally not a quick process. If like Seren they will get out of the harness somehow especially if stressed. What about a pram

Old Mum
Amazon delivery = small but perfectly formed box to navigate/fight/destroy.

This is preferable to the shredded pinkie finger that Milo gave me eariler when trying to steal the freshly cooked chicken (must remember to never turn my back). Cat's a psycho, so fitting in nicely with the dugs, having put them securely in their place.
