Oh it's working at last for me 😀
I'm approaching West Memphis, hopefully through that after my lunchtime run...
There's a staggeringly large number of people, but I've spotted that there are only 3 other Roberto's, and none of them are yet showing themselves to be ultra nutters, so there's a nice mini-league for the four of us

I've done a mad thing and signed up too, even though I have only twice in ten years reached 150 miles in a month!
I don't think I'll get the finisher's medal, but it seems like a fun thing to do and it will be interesting looking at the maps. (I've always had a dream of walking the Appalachian Trail, so maybe this has something to do with that!)

Few of us locally are doing this because we did the Ironman 70.3 World Championships Chattanooga in 2017 which is on the route. We did some of the touristy things as well, Jack Daniels, Nashville etc. some of which we'll be passing. Bit of a nostalgia trip for us as well as training.
There's a picture of me post race eating a waffle as big as a house, will dig it out later....

Tempted by this but have already signed up for 100 miles with Centurion One Community, and I think MrsH might have something to say if I paid for two virtual events having previously derided them!

I'm bib number 15150.
9.47 miles in total today. 3.25 mile walk this morning to buy some fish from the fisherman's hut on the seafront & a 6.22 mile run this afternoon.
I reckon that puts me in Memphis. I'll check later on this evening.
