Triggered by beebop's 'tilting' fool, I saw this, by chance today, as an outdoor reminder of a fool It is from 1606. supposedly 'Eyre's Folly' (so Eyre was the fool?), although everyone locally knows it as the Pepperbox and it sits on Pepperbox Hill en.wikipedia.org |
