Dr PhFleecyD
I just rambled till my examiners lost the will to continue. Plus one had a plane to catch.
Funny, I can hardly remember it now, it was only just before Christmas

Helegant posted yesterday to say she’d felt well enough for a short walk. The person she believes she got it from us already back to work and I think Mr has had slightly different symptoms but it was presumably CV as hers was confirmed. So I think she is recovering ITG or at least I very much hope so x

Thanks, Dipps. Glad she is doing a bit better and I hope he is too.

PhFleecy, I can imagine that somehow... my OH tried to talk his way through the 3 hour defence with an endless monologue but they cut him off after an hour. An hour without stopping for breath.

Had my longest run in a while today and absolutely loved it. Glad of the day off to get out earlier.

Good news about the Helegants.

Been for a 4-mile run. Now waiting to start a Zoom with eldest son and little grandson.

What Peregrinator says about the Devil's Advocate being required to make the case against a candidate's being accepted for sainthood is, I am sure, still the case.

I had a horrific run. Realised we'd planned to do our VE day virtual medal (for someone's fund raising) tomorrow but that was the wrong day....so we went out and did a horrible 7.5KM. Really hot and route was horrible. Bahahahahha.

um
Hope you let him know the tough questions were because he/his thesis was good ITG !

Today we took a break from running and walked/explored a local nature reserve. Across the A36, so new territory, although probably never more than 3 miles from home. Just on 10 miles done, not bad for a 'short afternoon walk'. Lots of signs of deer, a few shooting platforms :-( , but no actual sightings.
Did see a sparrowhawk (?) and a silly slow worm. Was in the middle of the road. We encouraged it to the side, but 30 secs later it was back in the middle. Soon to be an ex-slow-worm.

Evening.

Nice 10 miler earlier. Sunny at the start but got soaked at the end. In between bumped into 3 friendly faces for wee chats. General public were also very nice today. Lots of waves, hellos & moving aside for me.

Um, I did tell him that at the online after party.

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2020 thread, everybody welcome. The thread motto is:
'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

At normal times: All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles. Extra points for bins :-) And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.
