Ferocious Dog just posted on Facebook that their upcoming tour is likely to be cancelled. First date in London is gone & they're expecting the rest to follow.

I think it’s fair to say that by the end of this week there will be no choice but to cancel. Anyone who is still trying to go ahead is just being irresponsible.

I'm still getting alerts from Songkick and Bandsintown about gigs that are clearly not going to happen. It's ludicrous.

Joopsy, tomorrow Frank and the 2 supports from his tour are streaming a full virtual tour set from his house on his Facebook page, sort of as a freeby sorry for all the disappointed fans who couldn't attend. Won't be the same but it's a nice gesture and at least you get to see him do his thing.

Given the new 'suppression' phase of c-word control is estimated at 5 months I won't be planning any new shows soon. I don't have many to write off.
A wider issue is that it is likely some bands will have to give up. Most survive on touring.

Bands, venues, pubs, restaurants - I suspect we're going to lose a lot.
Especially as the floppy-haired twat is only "asking" rather than legislating for things not to happen in order to protect his financier chums.
I might just jump in the handcart as it rolls past.
