I missed Black Midi in Edinburgh the other week because I was too bone idle to order a ticket in a timely enough manner. However they're playing a wee one day festival in London in Early June. Wide Awake it's called and I'm seriously thinking about going. There are at least another 10 bands that I'm definitely wanting to see too:

Snapped Ankles

plus more TBA ... and it's only £33 a ticket. Apart from it being about 450 miles away I can't think of any reason not to go. (That 450 miles though, that's a biggy 😢)

The Scribbler
Jon Hopkins for me at Sage Gateshead tonight. Think he's doing more stripped back piano style for these gigs, but I'm hoping there will be a bit of old folks raving at some point. He's one of my go to writing soundtracks, so the live experience will be interesting.

Oh yes, I saw something about that the other day. Did I see Gently Tender at TGE last year? I saw so many I can't remember which I saw and which I only think I saw. From that list above I have definitely seen Dream Wife but I think I only think I've seen Snapped Ankles cause I've seen em mentioned on this thread.
