Thank you.
It took about a month and a half all in.
It’s a specific build for a customer who’s great Uncle was KIA flying one over Germany in 1944 having won a DFC the week before. He was in his 20s
The aircraft is accurate down to the serial number, tail markings and code on the fuselage.

Wow, no wonder it's so good! When you say customer, do you build model aircraft as a job?! No one told me we had a professional in here!! I'm wittering on about my dodgy glue n paint skills! G

Hey Happy, I build for friends and work colleagues. I don’t charge that much though and i genuinely love watching peoples reactions when they see their relatives aircraft come back to life.
I’ve built tanks that are on display at Bletchley Park museum, a Vulcan for someone who re fuelled it on the Falklands raid and recently a model for a 97 year old veteran Lancaster tail gunner.
Im also training for two Ironman races this year too !

Are any of them with backgrounds or in settings (like they do with railway models)? That Lancaster is so realistic, if it had barrels and a hangar and on a tarmac runway and stuff, it would look amazing.
I used to hang my airfix models from the ceiling in my bedroom, that always looks cool too! G
