Thanks for the kind comments. I did a short recovery run this morning. It was ok.
I’m now in Telford...... training the hearing dog to sleep in a travel lodge! Our posh hotel in Liverpool had a brown stain on the carpet this travel lodge has a matching one.

In other news, when we feared all our hedgehogs had been run over we have evidence that at least two are still visiting.
Which is incredible news.

Lovely to see the hedgehogs. Sadly, I haven't seen a live one for years.
9 miles done this morning. Occasionally slightly drizzly but otherwise a great morning for running.
Off out eating with some chums this evening, haven't seen them since before Christmas, so will have a lot to catch up on.

Saw a hedgehog in our garden a couple of years ago, but not one since, despite making hedgehog holes in the fences.

Home again. Looking forward to sleeping in a room without brown stains.
I think there may be a bird stuck up our chimney. It’s been there a few days ..... not sure what too do. (All my small children are too big to send up chimneys )
