This should be worth seeing - a Lego model of part of the lakes. bbc.co.uk It is definitely worth a visit Chrisity!! Quite amazing the work he’s put in to it. Great Gable had been added and he was working on the top of the Ennerdale valley when we were there. |

From Nicky Wood of the Lakeland LDWA. “ LDWA member Stephen Moore, will complete his Sixtieth round of Wainwrights this weekend. On Saturday he plans to finish on Latrigg, at around 3pm. It would be rather lovely if a few folks could come up to give him a massive round of applause, for what is surely a one off. Stephen has been climbing these hills completing his first round in 1971 and has recorded each and every round with the Hillwalkers Register on the LDWA website. As the current recorder of the Hillwalkers achievements, he has asked me along to join him for his celebrations, which I feel very honoured to do! I've only heard yesterday about his plans so sorry it is last minute, but hey, if you are near Keswick and Latrigg at about 3pm, it would be great to see you!!” |
