Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Slippery and icy on pavements this morning here--and overall quite unpleasant when I went out. Glad to get onto "rough" and safe trails. Reached goal of 1,200 for the year after a 10k..putting me at 68/100 too.
You can keep hills jenny! No matter what the benefits!! I can tolerate running them within a run--no matter how long or steep but hill reps just do my head in!
Good running Fenners--warmer?! Where??!

Well done on reaching 1200 Steve! bunting

Well done on getting out for a run this morning too - the pavements bear my house were okay walking in this morning, but near my office they were really icy and unpleasant. I could feel the temperature dropping last night as we were running.

Oddly I think I’m the other way round with hills - I enjoy hill reps, but am not overly keen on hills as part of a longer run.

Sun is out in the Fens, it must be at least five degrees Celsius. Northerners would be wearing shorts :)

3 degrees is my usual shorts/tights threshold. Obviously I'm a big southern softy. :-)

I can run in shorts to about -2 - which means I can usually happily run in shorts all year. My legs don’t tend to get cold, I do have more layers on my top half though, and usually two pairs of gloves when it’s really cold (only wore 1 pair last night and suffered for it).
