Ganna monstered that, he looks a big lad, accepting that TV makes him look like the Hulk so reality might be he is just a bit lighter than normal.
I agree with G, Ineos look ready to control the Giro.

Van der Breggen takes a comprehensive victory in the Women's race
Van Vleuten takes the 2 woman sprint for second from Longo Borghini. Could see Longo Borghini getting relegated for that sprint if she'd won it.

Lizzie just missing a couple of per cent on the climbs dropping a couple of yards when vdB hit the pedals at about 40k to go and that was the race winning move.
Be interesting to see how long Pidcock lasts tomorrow.

AVV riding hard all the way up and getting a gap before AVDB attacked was a good strategy for dropping Lizzie.
AVV continuing to ride after AVDB had attacked was odd, but I wondered when she saw that AVDB has gone.

I've seen similar pictures of snow on the Tourmalet. The remaining GTs could be interesting!
Very strong by AVDB. Reminded me a little of last year, with an attack at the steepest part and a decisive gap before any hint of cohesion formed behind. Was slightly surprised ELB couldn't follow given how she's ridden the last few weeks, but CUL looked like she peaked well, if just a fraction below what was needed - have to see how she goes in the upcoming classics.
I have a feeling Slovenia may be having another good day tomorrow, but I wonder if the likes of Woods could pull off a bit of a coup.
