Noted. Is there anyone else who doesn't want to be choseinated for next month? We're getting close to me having to pick a name as it's nearly November :-o

I guess I should really start this month's book soon, it would be bad form to not read my own choice! ;-)

The train book gets off to a great start. If we don't have it here I'll try and force it down the neck of everyone on Diogenes' lovely new travel wire.

Bookshop girl said it was very derivative of the library book...

Slightly annoyed by having found a Mistake in Watling Street, and only on p 43 so far. If an author can make one mistake (which I recognised because it's something I know about) he can make others, which I may not detect because I know little or nothing about whatever the subject is.

I thought something similar early on that made me sceptical, but nothing else in the book caused me doubt. That’s not to say there’s no errors in the book, but I felt entertained and informed.
