I meant minutes for mine one minute walk / one minute run
So 1/1 or 01:00 / 01:00 or 60/60 I think I'll do the 01:00/01:00 with the run bit always first........... keep it simple they say

Just to confuse it I did "some/< some" this morning. As it was my first run back from a mild back injury I just ran until I felt like a walk break then walk until I was ready to go again.

I did "some/ > some" this morning after parkrun when I got home. Still had the kit on so I decided on a little more time on feet. Mine was more walk until I felt like a jog break. Came out like this.

28 minutes this morning, which is 2 minutes more than last time and a quarter of a mile further. 3 mins run, 1 min walk, throughout (I got so confused by the notation above, I decided to use words). Knee is still uncomplaining, - this very gradual increase in time and distance seems to be suiting it.

Fenland (Fenners) Runner
Another 20+ miler banked and again it was the awesome 4:1. Averaged around 10:06 minutes/mile pace. Post run feel great. In fact so great this could get addictive.

Fragile Do Not Bend
Completed my first marathon yesterday using 5/1 ratio, though around mile 20 it slid more towards 4/2 😀. Averaged 13 min/mile pace. Very surprised at how I feel today - a bit sore and tired but really no worse than if I had done a hard circuits class yesterday.

Well done FDNB I find the lack of soreness the day after (and after that) is the best bit of run walking. Though my legs still hurt on the day of a long run.
