Unless a bird shat on them, but then I’d probably just not eat them. Home (Surrey one), it is Officially Fucking Hot here. Much hotter than the IoW version. Watered my patio plants, now to gird loins and water the allotment.

Partly so that someone can check that they have picked the right thing and it is safe. We haven't missed any weeds yet that have fruited with dodgy things but you never know.

Half the stuff I’ve picked would have been too ripe to wash anyway. Watered the allotment, ate some raspberries (last few left) and tayberries (they are amazing this year!) and then had a cool shower. White wine, going to roast some veg and halloumi as there is no other food in the house.
