A polar bear!
Sharkie that's exactly what our puppy class was taught too, having the treat concealed in your hand and giving it when the dog moves away.

Is that a GSD? I've never seen one that colour.

Yes, definitely a GSD (pedrigree and all that). Some people say they are calmer than other lines... but then Some People say that chocolate Labs are particularly bonkers and unstable. You can't really trust Some People.
There is a blonde GSD we see a lot round here - long haired and a sort of very pale honey colour. They're really pretty but I prefer black and tan and almost entirely black (like Indi).
They must be one of the breeds that look the most different when full grown to their puppy selves. Puppies have soft furry coats, floppy little ears, and piggy wig tails. The proportion of black to tan fur also radically changes (if the dog IS black and tan - Indi will stay 90-95% black I guess, like his parents)
Jess has big pointed ears, a thick double coat, big pointed ears and a swooping brush of a tail that touches the ground.

LD you should dig out some Flossie pics - she was so adorable as a puppy - and doesn't look radically different now.

Wow what a transformation. Such a beautiful dog.
Ernie currently having a bonkers play session with QP. He has very much bonded with me and demands I come for a nap. I'll be back at work in a couple of weeks so he needs to have a good bond with QP too.

Ernie is doing just great, isn't he?
You said somewhere just how happy he's made QP - so I'm sure you have nothing to fear about them bonding. He will love both the other members of his family!

At work today a dog handler was walking round an 11 week old land shark. He looked just like D2's bear. He warned us he had sharp teeth. He didn't seem too concerned about the nipping. Poor thing was scared of steps.

Dave - was it the dog handler or the land shark who was scared of the steps?

We're back home after a few days of Ridgeway walking. Mr would drop me at the start point with Jet and then drive to the end point and walk back to meet us. Jet worried that we had lost Mr, and for the first couple of days spent a lot of time telling me to turn round. Then he twigged that Mr was coming from a different direction and started looking for him - for miles in advance! Today we've confused him by leaving him to walk back with Mr. When I saw them and called to him he started looking under bushes for me. Then covered me with mud. Daft dog!
