Sigh. I saw my dog walker yesterday (I'm usually at work so rarely actually speak to her). She is a very nice, but slightly glass-half-empty type person & she told me all about all Rory's problems (does she think I don't know??)

Thing is, I don't think his 'problems' are that terrible. Basically, he chews things, he mouths, he pulls on the lead. Well so what, he's effectively a 4 month old puppy in the body of an 18 month old dog. He's not reactive, he behaves perfectly when left on his own, he's not possessive about his food or toys and I'm doing my best with the rest of it. Stop being unnecessarily negative about my child!

(Luckily, normal service will now be resumed, and I won't be in when she comes.)

Rory sounds normal and lovely and I wouldn't call those 'problems'.

Completely and utterly normal, and he will learn not to do them before long. (Well, the chewing may take a while ;-))

I shouldn't complain, because I pay her to have him for an hour and she often takes him out for much longer (they went to a massive Country Park yesterday - the drive there and back alone is probably 45 minutes), but really, what is the point in relentless negativity? He's chewed the inside of your van so you've started putting him in a crate? Great! Problem solved! Move along!

I don't see the point in miserable people! :) Rory sounds perfectly normal, Indi still mouths when he is excited and he has lived a simple life with no excuses. :) They are dogs not robots.
