[kwala, I was being picked up at the end of the run and had I not carried a full change including socks and shoes, I'd have been going carefully around the fun bits too ;-) ]

As I did parkrun yesterday I've loaded a 5k for March. My time will hopefully improve as the year goes on as it was a new PW. ;-)

I went for a walk down by the river earlier, I was ready for a bit of mud but didn't end up getting too far as the river was so high. :)

Looks like my route pic from last Thursday ar - impossible to tell which bit was the river and which was the path! Needless to say, I did an about turn and found another route!

Alpen jeez that is high, spring has been a tad wet so far.

Sorry if I missed anyone it was on a new page and Iā€™m a goldfish! I did 10k today and a km in the pool stacked it right at the end over a cobble skinned my knees wreaked my leggings! My favourite ones too šŸ˜”šŸ˜¶

Oh no Nut, sorry you didn't have a soft landing like me. :(

I opened my April account this afternoon with a 5 miler. Even managed it before the rain started but I can feel it in my hips now. Hopefully, I can keep it going this time as it's such hard work getting through the first couple of weeks each time. ;-)

Oh no Nutso :-( Hope you're knees aren't too bruised. Boo for the leggings too :-(

Well done Alpen, I hope you can keep going too. Are there stretches/exercises you can do for your hips? I think I'm finally starting to enjoy my plodding again, making a conscious decision to R/W has worked wonders with my head :-)

1) Keep doing my leg exercises and add ankles to the plan
2) Cto5k/10k my way
3) Concentrate on 5k then 10k times
4) Try to get to +300 miles in a year (plus 1000 walking miles)
5) Arrive at the BH marathon start line fit and healthy, and have fun whilst covering the challenge

1) to start building some strength and flexibility work into my week
2) to get back in to walking every day for at least 30 mins
3) to shift some of the extra heft I've gained this year
