Firstly blight does for about a third of my plants, now I think a mouse is stealing green toms from the greenhouse. Yesterday I saw a couple of nibbled ones in the corner where they couldn’t really have fallen off and rolled to - I put those in the compost. Today there is another four in the same spot. Grrr…

Normally at this time I would start preserving them for cooking the rest of the year AND eat them twice a day... I have barely had a tomato yet

Mine are outside, but I have had quite a few ripe ones - just about a month behind where they’d usually be here so hoping for a warm September. First sweetcorn cobs picked yesterday - straight from plant to pan it’s so sweet No brassicas, the ones the slugs left got well and truly caterpillared whilst I was away The chillis don’t seem to want to ripen, but there are lots of them, we can always eat them green.
