Yeah I noted, the only line that worried me was "a nod to the original" rather than a version of.... but I imagine I will get a pair.

I did pick up a pair and took them for their first outing tonight. Seemed wide enough, comfortable and the studded grip was very welcome on the leaf covered streets. My only slight concern was their stiffness but then they were only delivered today so that may ease slightly.

That the new ones? What do they compare to the old ones?

From what I remember, fairly similar. They feel a little higher off the ground but I'm fairly sure they've gone for fewer, bigger studs for the grip so that could explain it.

I haven't worn the old ones for quite some time but I liked them and I think I'll like these so they should be in the same vein by that theory.

Honestly, if they had more stock in other colours, I'd consider a second pair whilst they're cheap.

They looked thicker just from the pic TBH. What's so special about the H-street? I think I tried the Saloh which were ok but nothing special.

All my pbs were set in them, over a 3 year period, and the one year in between where I couldn't get hold of any, I didn't set any pbs. They were the ultimate light weight comfortable shoe, like running in slippers, minimalist without being barefoot. Nothing else Puma does is remotely like them (even the K streets which were awful).

They're not that minimalist, you definitely notice a sole is there.

You'd have loved the Karrimor Aeolus 120s I had. It was like they weren't there.

Weren't there you say? That's a size 12 Reebok Floatride Run Fast Pro.

And the Mizuno Wave Universe 5 is 20g lighter!

The Salon was pretty similar to the H-street from what I read here. Might be worth checking for those as well (although I think you'll struggle)

I think the US have more spikeless version of shoes but might be worth looking for shoes like that if you're after that type of shoe.

It's pretty clear the new version isn't spike like.
